How Not to Host a Party - Esp if You're the President of the United States!
So Kelly & Stanley were two of about 500 service members & family members invited to the White House for an informal dinner (buffet style), personal greeting and tour of the West Wing, as well as the fireworks on the 4th, right?
Well apparently the Obama's felt no need to be amongst their fellow government employees.
They came out (all four of them), grabbed their meals (actually they had someone go down into the line for them), and then TOOK THEIR MEALS BACK INTO THE WHITE HOUSE!
After eating, Mr. & Mrs. Obama came out to make a speech, then they walked along a rope line to greet people. They invited 15 people to join them on the roof of the White House to watch the fireworks.
How rude is that?
Not that they invited people to join them, but that they grabbed their meal and didn't even bother to eat amongst all these men & women who serve them!
Other than that, and the humidity, Kelly & Stanley had a good time, though she didn't eat much.
