So many great entries this week! I could easily rec each and every entry, but here are some of my favourites:

These Hands That Hold
Rating: R
Warnings: None
Word Count: ~2200
Summary: When Sirius gripped his hand back, pulse strumming strong and quick in his fingers, Remus had the distinct impression that he was falling into something wonderful.
Why you should read this: This is so real and vivid. You feel like you get into Remus' head. And the story has sentences like these: It wasn’t the pain so much that bothered Remus as the knowledge that it was never-ending, that the only end in sight was in the far off distance, that the pain only ended with a six-foot hole in the ground. It was the sharp, quick thrum of terror that went through him at the thought, at the certainty, that he would be alone all his life.

Affection Falling Just Short of Love
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: mild swearing, modern non-magic AU
Word Count: ~3400
Summary: Sometimes Remus goes into empty houses and steals books, Sirius is the only person that’s ever caught him at it.
Why you should read this: I'm very fond of AUs, I always enjoy reading how in-character Remus and Sirius respond to new settings. And this one is original, cute and funny.

Where You Feel It Touching the First Sounds
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: References to Homophobia, Canon Character Death,
Word Count: ~2600
Summary: Their relationship has always been as liminal as an early fall day, hovering just the edge.
Why you should read this: So powerful, so achingly sad, so beautiful. The story is divided into three scenes, and especially the first scene where Remus and Sirius get away for a few days during the first war, is amazing.

Pillow Forts
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: ridiculous nicknames
Word Count: ~2600
Summary: It's cold, Remus is running late, and Sirius is about to make him later.
Why you should read this: This story is full of humour as well as sincere emotions. Sirius is wonderfully silly, and the interaction between the boys is great. Two quotes to illustrate: "Why are you up so early?" Sirius asked with the world weary voice of one who understood that detention at nine meant sleeping until 8:55, followed by a sprint through the castle that would wake him up before he got there.
and this:
"You know I'm a delicate flower, my sweet limpet," Sirius added. He especially liked how Remus would usually act all offended when Sirius called him by pet names but then cave so readily to any request Sirius made of him. He suspected that meant Remus quite liked Sirius as well since he would just tell James to bugger off when he tried the same. "I'll shrivel up and die if I have to get up. Wither and turn to dust. You'd have it on your conscious for years."

Art:Stalking Memories
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Summary: You should have told me it wasn't forever.
Why you should read this: This shows how Remus looks back on happy times with Sirius, and the loneliness he's going through. And it shows it heartbreakingly well. This is amazing!
