As of Monday we have moved out of Fulton Street, Anniesland and now dwell in Scotstoun. Final session of the Uther Phase of Pendragon went well. For those of you who care, it was a pretty exciting session: taking in a very large battle in which the players were just victorious, and then a rather unexpected aftermath that seriously shakes up the status quo for the next time around. Since I last wrote about Pendragon, consensus with all the players was that we shouldn't worry about re-doing the messed up fight. Most people felt that, from a story point of view, the failure in comabt was actually an interesting turn of events - and it was easy to play it that Sir Rhodri didn't actually 100% know his relic had the magical power ( Read more... )

Due to Newsnight I had to reschedule Pendragon at the last minute, moving it to Tuesday. Second Pendragon session went a bit better. We still played comparatively late, doing a few court scenes, a joust, two monsters fights and the winter phase - but it felt a bit better paced. Last night we made characters for King Arthur Pendragon 5th Edition, the RPG where you play knights in dark ages Britain and act out the adventures between King Arthur being concweived and King Arthur dying.
