“You’re taking the lead,” Ryan says with a sharp voice and furrowed eyebrows. A smile pinches at the edges of Kelsi’s mouth, both secretive and laughing, and he has a feeling she knows what he’s been trying to do the whole practice session. For someone who’s pretty hapless at the art of body movement, she is remarkably talented at maneuvering them just out of reach.
Impressive. But annoying.
“Maybe you should take more initiative,” she replies, eyes glinting with challenge.
Suddenly, he halts, grip iron tight; her eyes widen-must have lost track-
“Look up,” and he is grinning.
Mistletoe.
