Oh, you know..
Life update:
Andrea and I are heading down to the Valley today. I can see her car parked behind the house. I'm so excited! Last time we went home, it was for my 20th birthday.. And we went to Mom's on Sunday (which was Mother's Day and my birthday, coincidentally) all hungover, I opened presents and we ate cake, then went wheeling.. And we wheeled to Tom's parent's house where they were having a Mother's Day dinner, and the whole Uhlamn family was there. It was so much fun, the best time I've had in a long time. So that's why I'm excited. I can see the chickens and Petey and Rahjah and finally meet Cabbit (Mom's new kitten with no tail - Tom affectionately named him Cabbit, Cat + Rabbit).
School's been great, I'm kicking butt this semester. 100, 96, 79, 81... My "average" in all my classes is an 82.9%, which is the highest average I've had since leaving high school. I really like Dal. Except for my Physiology prof who stops speaking when there's the slightest bit of noise - in an auditorium with 250 PEOPLE - obviously there'll be some noise. Get over it. But anyway, I'm loving it and I've run into some people from high school (Jeff, Amy, Erin, Sanjeev). It's neat to see random people and how they're doing.
What else.. Joe and I had plans to go to New York to see Dad and Laurie over Christmas, but flights are so god damn expensive at that time of year that we might just go on my March Break. But I guess we'll see.
Cat update:
Ollie is fine, the vet decided it was too risky to do surgery so he's on Lactulose for the rest of his life. But he doesn't really mind it, so it's better than infection. At least he can poop. He's not in pain, and that's all that matters to me!
