Happy 11 months, sweetie!
Hi everyone. I wonder who "everyone" is, because I never really know who's reading these things. Ah well.
Andrea's birthday was yesterday, the big 2-7. She and Jaime and I hung out for the morning, we gave Andrea her presents and then went over to see Gill. Which was nice, because I rarely see her anymore. But we couldn't stay long because Jaime had an interview at Lane Home Furnishings. So out to Bayers Lake we went, and Andrea and I looked around the store twice before Jaime was ready to leave. She said the interview was really sketchy, almost like they weren't prepared for it. No questions on paper, nothing. Weird. She had an interview with Eastlink that morning, too, so here's hoping that she gets both and gets to choose which she wants.
What else..
Joe's been good, he's still loving his job. He says "Yeah, it's alright" when I ask him if he still loves it, but I know he does. He secured a career within four months of graduating from NBCC - most graduates can't say that. And it's a good paying job, to boot. Also, his coworkers are sweet. We went on a harbour cruise earlier in the summer, and we went out for drinks with them a few weeks ago. They're really fun.
Dad's doing well too, and he's also really liking his job. Stressful and busy, he says, but it's still a great job. Joe and I are trying to get down to see Dad and Laurie for Christmas, but it looks like we're going to have to go to the airport the day of, and wait for standbys. I hope it works out.
Mom and Tom have really fixed the house up. They changed the dining room into the den, and made the den into the dining room. Mom bought a new dining set and china cabinet, and it looks amazing. Andrea and I went down a few weekends ago to stay with Mom, and we had a blast. We even went to Kentville, but I think I may have written about that already. If not, sorry. Heh.
Anyway, I have Spanish homework to do. Hasta luego!
