Hey, I can see that there's been a lot of talk about the Stripe-mione ;) 
Does anyone have the pattern, for the weater in size XL and/or XXL? I'd like one for me and my friend.

Help please?
- and please state the gauge of the yarn used. I'm from Denmark and it might be expensice to get the exact same yarn.

  I've been looking everywhere for a replica of the fantastic grey rainbow striped sweater hermione wore in the order of the pheonix or as some of the members have referred to it "stripe-mione". Here's another "Stripemione" sweater that I knitted as a commission piece.  It was pretty much the same as the one I made for myself (in previous post Nov 2007), only smaller and a few slight colour changes.  I also did some cute matching socks.  All pics behind

I finally finished! Well, I finished in late November or early December, but I just took pictures today. ^_^;; The cut leads to my LJ (so it's a fake) so if you have any questions, you can ask either here or there. Doesn't matter to me. ^_^;;

I used a pattern from Fitted Knits. It's the raglan-sleeved sweater. That's the only pattern I think ( Read more... )

Well,  I finally got it all together to post  my stripe-mione pattern.  I'm a little nervous, as this is the first pattern I've attempted to write.  I hope I'm not in over my head!  So, I'm hoping it is all ok. Please feel free to let me know if there are any errors or confusing bits.

Hi everyone! I've been lurking since forever, and finally have something to post!

So, ever since I saw this picture waaaay back in June, I have been dying to knit the StripeMione sweater. And after seeing the two beautiful recreations on this very community, I was inspired to get started!

Another long time lurker!!  G'day!!
I'd call myself a 'more experienced knitter' and had done a few gryffindor scarfs and the HP house Fair Isle Pouch Bag (see my userpic), before I decided I needed a challenge.........and Hermione's Grey jumper with rainbow stripes caught my eye.  So here it is.....finally finished !!!!!
