He sat between the beds, silent.
He watched Gran walk out of the room, then turned back to his parents. His father was counting his fingernails; his mother was handing him yet another empty Jello container (she was doing that, now).
"Mom, Dad....she's dead." He wanted them to react somehow...a spark, a gesture---anything. He didn't want to add the next but he did anyway, "Molly Weasley killed her." That was the part that killed him---that he hadn't finished her, killed her, destroyed her---or worse, done something that made her wish she was no longer alive.
