“Sirius!” Remus shouts, but it is too late, and the werewolf stares in horror as his lover tumbles over the edge of the ravine behind the Potter’s house.
Remus Apparates to Sirius and grabs him, asking him questions. In the wizarding world, your basic questions are different, and Remus starts with the simplest. “What are the five elements?” he begs, frantic.
Sirius opens his eyes and stares blankly at the sky. “Earth, wind, fire, water…and…” he pauses for a moment, puzzled, and then says quietly, “Moony.”
Despite his worry, Remus feels something warm grow in the pit of his stomach.
