Not right now, of course, but still pretty soon; my plan to go on holiday in July fell through because two members of our 4-person QA team are off in that month. So, I decided to go in June, instead! Specifically, I leave on the 16th, which is just over a month from now. The down-side of this change of plans is that I won't be in Montreal during the Jazz Festival, which was one of my main reasons for going there (Aside from seeing Myriam, of course), but there should still be plenty to do; Myriam mentioned seeing No Doubt, which we may do if we can be bothered to spend $100 each. I might get to meet up with Heather (The game designer who provided vocals for Pears), and I have a friend in Toronto who mentioned visiting Montreal at the same time as I was there (Though the change in date may have invalidated that). I still need to sort out accommodation, though. I can't decide whether to stay at a 5-star hotel or a hostel!
In other news, I went to see 'Is Anybody There?' with Jemma on Tuesday. Despite starring Michael Caine and Bill Milner (The kid from 'Son of Rambow'), it seems to be a fairly obscure release, which few people have heard of. It was amazing, though. I don't know what kind of release it's getting Stateside, but if you do get the chance to see it, I recommend you take it! Before the movie, Jemma and I ate at Nando's. Conversation was a little slower than the previous time we'd met up, but we'd both been drinking then, which would account for it. I don't know... I'm just tired of girls at the moment. I need to take a break from them, I think.
Finally, I completed Plants Vs Zombies last night! The last level was really challenging, but I managed to complete it first time, by the skin of my teeth. It's opened up a whole raft of minigames now, which should keep me occupied for a while longer.
