Bank Holiday Weekend! Again!
Hello! I guess I haven't updated for a week. I'm not entirely sure why, it hasn't been a particularly uneventful week; I just haven't felt like it. So, here goes:
It's a bank holiday weekend, and I've managed to arrange something for all three days! Granted, I'll be doing the same things twice. Specifically, the Cambridge Beer Festival. I'm going later today with Dave and his friend, and again on Monday evening with Dave and his girlfriend, and anyone else I can convince to come along. Should be interesting! I'm going to be drinking Cider mostly, because I can't really stomach beer.
Tomorrow I'm going to Hampton Court Palace for a kind of food festival with Kit. Not the kind of thing I'd have gone to on my own, but it should be interesting. Apparently there are "sushi, chocolate, cheese and champagne masterclasses", none of which I would say no to!
I was thinking last night that it would be nice to write some kind of narrative in here again. I've done it a few times in the past, when describing events in my life in third-person, or events from games I've played. All too often, though, all I'm doing here is listing a series of things that have happened, or that are going to happen, and I don't often get to be creative with my words. I may try a short piece of fiction some time, see how it goes.
