Hrmm, it's been a while, so I'm not gonna try to catch it all up - hehe I'll stick with recent events.
Graduation rocked :) and so did our party that night - saw some people I don't see often, had a great time and some great food, and ended up rather trashed ;)
I decided to move back to Fort Myers for a while, things just didn't feel right, and now they do. I've slept better, ate better, and smiled more since I've been here. I'll miss friends in Tampa, but it's not far and I can visit whenever I want. I still plan to go to grad school, of course...it'll just be a year or two from now instead of this fall, and I may go back to USF or try UF.
Now that I'm back, Jackie's going to give me a "project" to work with...I know she and Lyndsay are going to begin Monster's training sometime soon, and I'd love to get into that. Horses were something huge that was missing while I was away, and I can't tell you how good it feels to look out the window every day and see them. Hopefully I'll be able to show this season as well, I missed it like you wouldn't believe.
I had a great birthday, nice and relaxing. Went to an awesome dinner at Cin Cin with Russ, then we took Amanda out for drinks cuz she didn't get to go out for her 21st birthday. It was much fun - I stayed at her house that night and we played this silly game called Dirty Minds. I'm sure it would be much better with more than two people, but it was still great :)
Now I just need to find a job - I've applied for quite a few, and my highest hope is with FDEP - I applied for an Environmental Specialist III position that covers pretty much the whole southwest district, and a Park Naturalist one (which is pretty much a park ranger hehe)for out at Lover's Key State Park. I'd LOVE the ES III job - it's a lot of what I did during my internship with them last year.
Well, that's all for now. I'm going with my mom to take Nellie (her new dog) out in the canoe...should be interesting, to say the least.
