Anyone interested?

Last night at the music club where I volunteer was a performance by a bunch of local singer-songwriters who also have a collective songwriting workshop called the "Yellow Room Gang," and it got me to thinking. Anyone interested in trying out a fanfic writing workshop?

I don't mean the drive-by betaing, but something more than that. Something in which the lead writer can come with the rough outline -- perhaps a few paragraphs or a page or two, maybe a full chapter of something longer -- of a fic and everybody could participate with thoughts as to plot, characterization, scenes whatever. Not just commenting on what's there, but helping to drive what it becomes. Obviously one writer will still have to oversee the thing to avoid it becoming a groupthink mess, but it might be interesting to see how well a workshop will work in a fanfic writing setting.

I'm not sure if the Clinic would be the best setting to hash this out or not (and hope you don't mind me proposing it here), or if it should be in a person's individual LJ or some other format such as writely.com.

I'd be willing to be the sacrificial lamb the first go-round, but first we need to see if anyone's interested. Thoughts?
