Telling me your country has much better laws than mine is not a way to make friends. It only tells me two things -
The first is that you're showing contempt for the country you're visiting. Didn't anyone tell you that when you travel the world, you act as a citizen ambassador for your country? Be polite. Politeness does make friends!
Second, that if your country was really so great, you wouldn't come to vacation in mine.
