We're hoping we get Spiffy home today, she's been at the vets. She's been forcefed throughout the week after it turned out the metal she ate was crumbling and passing pretty well. Spiffy managed to find and eat a piece of metal, probably foil. The vet is very very uneasy with operating, and the piece seems to be back in the cloaca. SO. We pumped her up with roughage and laxatives. Hopefully, somewhere in the ensuing poo is a piece of foil. She seems much brighter and stronger this morning. We have for a while now, after that whole fucked up fifty buck duck suck, they are fat and sassy, pristine white when they're not filthy (friend and ally is the Mud), and normally, they trundle along going "chug chug chug".
