Humans are fucking up the world... I mean it.
Let me explain, due to the drought in Australia, our PM, John Howard has just announced this morning that unless we get heavy rain in the next six to eight weeks in the Murray Darling River system then farmers will not be allowed water for irrigation.
Basically this means that water will only be allowed for domestic uses such as cooking, cleaning etc. Washing cars and watering gardens is already not allowed.
This also means that the farms and crops will got no water whatsoever. None at all. So they're all gonna die. And we will have no crops. Good work John Howard! Maybe if you had thought about these issues a little earlier and LISTENED to the federal government then we wouldn't be having this problem!
With the way this is going the chnce of heavy rainfall in this area is little to none.
To put this into context, the Murray Darling river system is the biggest in Australia...it goes through the states of New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and South Australia.
