i wonder if he was already dead when i came home last wednesday... we walked eloise to school that morning and he did something strange. i text ian and alex at 8:04am: "hux got into a poop position and stayed in it for 5 minutes with his back legs ahead of his front. then he expelled brown liquid. it was bizarre." i had to tug on ( Read more... )

Huxley died about 2 hours ago, at home. I was cooking Rosh Hashanah dinner when I realized he hasn't moved in a while. I went to pet him and he was gone. Just like that. I'm functioning on a dose of shock. We took a walk this morning. I know he is old but I wasn't expecting this for some time.
