Premise--has this been done?
Fic in which Sam or Dean are swiped and brainwashed (think Bucky Barnes in Winter Soldier) to the extent of speaking some other language, eschewing (or not remembering) English, and being sent after Dean or Sam. AU or not, though the language thing definitely suggests AU.
Mostly I think this is just a result of my language kink. But I think everyone has that kink. Problem is I only speak Japanese, and not well enough to write as a thriller-type thing...I'm sorely tempted to try though.
