1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? It really depends on the size of the gift but I like bags because they are reusable while the paper ends up being thrown away...unless you're really careful when you open a gift but that sucks the fun out of it, in my opinion.
2. Real tree or artificial? We've had artificial trees my whole life. It's just easier. And less painful. Real trees hurt to decorate!
3. When do you put up the tree? Early to mid-December.
4. When do you take the tree down? Usually after New Year's.
5. Do you like eggnog? I really have to be in the mood for it and can't drink too much. And I usually dilute it with some milk so it's not so strong.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Probably my own stereo system and CDs when I was 10 or so.
7. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Sweaters. Yuck. I learned after a few Christmases to ask for money instead of clothes so that I could pick out what I actually liked.
8. Hardest person to buy for? My brother.
9. Easiest person to buy for? My dad. Give him a new CD, and iTunes card or a tin of cashews and he is one happy guy.
10. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes.
11. When do you start shopping? Mid-December.
12. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I honestly don't know!
13. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Speengies (fried dough rolled in sugar - it's a family thing), yummy hot chocolate, chocolate-dipped pretzels.
14. Lights on the tree? Oh yes - multi-colored ones!
15. Favorite Christmas song? I love "This is Christmas" by Plus One and "Baby Please Come Home" by Anberlin. Kevin Max's Christmas album, "Holy Night" is my favorite Christmas album collectively. "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," or "O Holy Night" are probably my favorite "religious" Christmas songs.
16. Favorite Christmas movie? A Muppet Family Christmas
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We used to travel to my grandparents' house or my aunts' houses but we've chosen to stay home the past few years. It beats hours in the car and mom worrying about the weather. :-)
18. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph.
19. Angel on the tree top or a star? Neither...usually a bow of some kind.
20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We've done both!
21. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Busyness and being so wrapped up in the shopping and the activities that we can't stop and just be.
22. Favorite ornament theme or color? We've never had a theme to our tree but I love silvers, reds and blues.
23. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Something fancy!
24. What do you want for Christmas this year? We've decided this year not to go all out but if I had my wish...DVD sets, iTunes cards, gift cards, money, purses (I heart them), books, stationary, anything really!
Edit: 25. What is your favorite Christmas tradition/memory? (I just noticed this,
kimana83 and

Well, it used to be going to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve, eating Speengies and homemade pizza, playing cards, and staying up late with the adults. :-) Now that I'm older and we've done Christmas so differently each year since my grandparents moved, we don't really have any "traditions." One of my favorite memories was at Living Windows a few years ago. It's this celebration downtown - people sing in the window fronts, walk around with hot chocolate and just have a good time. I think it was two years ago that the night was particularly fun. Oh, and then there's the time I played Joseph (yes, Joseph) on a float in the Christmas parade. None of the boys would do it! :-)
