Summary The king is not amused
Uther was stiff and confused, waking up sitting in a boat of some kind, instead of in his chambers. There were two other people in the craft with him, and it was quite crowded. Strangely, there were no oars anywhere to be seen, meaning they were trapped on the lake. The boat was not like the ones common to the lakes and ponds around Camelot, but was a style Uther hadn't seen before. It did not appear magical in any way, but Uther had long since learned to be cautious until he knew for certain, as it was obvious that magic had been used to bring him here in some way. What unnerved Uther even more than being trapped in the craft, though, were the large and probably magical shapes that he could see beneath the waves. Stories circulated of large fish and sea serpents in the waters of the great seas, but not on an inland lake, as far as he knew. These creatures were too large and monstrous-looking to be anything but creatures of magic.
He could see other boats around this one, and three had familiar-appearing faces. One held Morgana's servant girl, Gwen, and another the female warrior who had challenged Arthur, Morgana's half sister Morgause. But it was Morgana who held his attention the most. He was relieved that she did not appear sick and near death as she had when Morgause had spirited her away with magic. He called to her, hoping to catch her attention, but he knew that he would have to wait to speak to her until they were safely on land. The current situation would demand his attention for now. He thought as to how to react, but there was little in his warrior's training that would give him an answer to a situation like this one.
