I know this might not be a popular idea with a some of you, but I think it's necessary that we instigate some sort of a curfew. Now, I know the past couple of days have been cause for celebration in some of you, but the carrying on loudly at all hours just isn't going to cut it, mateys. That's why, in order to prevent the sleep deprivation I've ( Read more... )

Do you even require sleep at all?

I like to go through the motions

That's not the point. There should be quiet nights aboard this vessel.

I agree, to an extent. But you could simply turn your communicator off, so you don't have to listen.

It's not a matter of the communicator! Besides, what if there's an emergency?

I, for one, second this. It's a very good way of keeping order, I've found.

I would also like to apply to be exempt, as I'm perfectly capable of behaving myself around alcohol.

It's not about behaving around alcohol. It's about peace and quiet.

And you're an inmate, so of course you wouldn't be exempt.

I think you'll also find me capable of being quiet. Very quiet.

How arbitrary of you. I think you'll find most of the noise being made recently has been by wardens. Make of that what you will.

I don't smegging care who's been making the majority of the noise. No inmate is allowed out after curfew.

Really, it's not your place to say. It'll be up to the Admiral once I formally petition him.

No it ain't, but you can bet that no vampire will follow that rule.

Not that it'll pass anyway.

If it because Barge policy, I should hope everyone will follow it.

I don't think there's any way the Admiral would pass this. Perhaps a good set of earplugs?

hologramatic September 30 2009, 02:42:13 UTC
And how exactly will earplugs made out of light stop any sounds from coming through, hm?

This would be a terrible idea indeed.

And why is that?

In this place, in this enclosed place, we are allowed only so many freedoms. Things like the ability to socialise amongst the occupants and moving about when we so choose are precious liberties.

If you take away the ability to move freely throughout what space we have, there will be dire consequences. Most definitely unrest amongst the barge, wardens and inmates alike. There is already much tension in our confinement.

Then you can socialize during a reasonable hour.

Say, between the hours of six in the morning and nine at night.
