Grey's has me bummed. I think it is past time for me to concentrate on other couples I love. With that said, here is my pick for Day 08.
Day 08 - The pairing with the most baggage?
Hmmm, going to have to go with Michael & Fiona on this one. I mean he is a burned spy that was raised in an abusive household, has enemies worldwide, has people that burned him trying to control him, an ex-fiancee that he dumped more than 10 years ago when he fell in love with Fiona who was only supposed to be an asset to him. Fiona is an ex-IRA bomber that was used and dumped by Michael more than once but still loves him. She’s a gunrunner with enemies of her own. She likes a good fight and causes quite a bit of trouble herself. They have their past together and apart to deal with on a daily basis and the unending truth that ultimately he will always be trying to get his old life back, to the point that he doesn’t really acknowledge his new life or the life he could have if he would give up that ghost which pretty much leaves Fiona out in the cold. He has chosen that old life over Fiona numerous times, but did eventually show that when it came to Fiona’s life or his old life, he chose her. Doesn’t mean he isn’t still trying to get back in. And if he ever does, will he leave her again? I would say that is a lot of baggage.
