So as some of you may already know, my tubal was a success. No issues with anesthesia aside from very mild nausea/vomiting that went away promptly, thankfully. Pain has been off and on, mostly discomfort from being so bloated up with the CO2 gas they use to inflate your abdomen D: Hopefully this ends soon, because every single stretch mark I've ever had is now lighting up like a Christmas tree and I look ten pounds heavier than I did yesterday. So I am less than pleased, but it's supposed to be alleviated soon, so hey.
I also want to extend a HUGE GIANT THANK YOU to
cat_paw, who was fantastic enough not only to drive me to and from my appointment but rearrange her entire night to stay with me, make sure I was okay & even check up on me in the middle of the night to make sure I was still among the living. She has clearly earned eighty trillion Best Friend Points™.
Anyway, this has been a long, arduous, anxiety-ridden and painful process, but it's totally worth it. I have finally fulfilled one of my dreams - to be able to live my life childfree and enjoy sex the way it's meant to be enjoyed, spontaneously & worry-free with someone I care for deeply ^_^
Well, that last part won't apply at least until after my incisions heal and I stop feeling like an inflated exam glove D: But you get my point.
(Pictures of my clamped uterus soon to come, when I feel like posting them XD)
