I just read this piece in the AJC:

Some Major at Benning is refusing to go to Afghanistan on the basis that she doesn't believe the legitimacy of Obama's presidency.
What the heck? I would be less surprised if it was some young recruit but really? People of this rank know better. He is the president, accept it. Regardless of your politics, he is the president and deserves your respect.
Hypothetically speaking though lets say that their claim were true... who is the real president then? GWB? Yeah, he was president when this war started, I think he is going to tell you to go ahead and go to Afghanistan too dumby. Good grief! If you can't accept your duty you shouldn't be in the armed services.
I've tried avoiding the political banter of late but this just is just ridiculous to me.
