This was suppose to be the month with no plans and we could all be together to relax.
For the last few weeks we have had the following:
My busy work getting H1N1 stuff ramped back up and prepared for fall madness
Brad's busy work, he has been unable to get it all done and has been putting in extra hours at work on top of his more fun work here at home.
Brother Nathan had an open house
Nathan just redeployed back to Afganistan
Cousin wedding couples shower
Great, great aunt memorial service - first for the girls and an educational experience too
Nephews and sis in law were in town
Another project tied me up the first to middle part of the month
Lexi stuck an acorn up her nose Friday resulting in 3 hours in 2 different doctor's offices (yes, two copays too) with 2 toddlers
Anya is now sick and back to the doctor, she is now on a nebulizer for 3 days with steroids... oh and we keep the machine b/c they suspect more may be coming this winter.
I"m so tired. I should be enjoying the extra time that I've gotten with the girls but it hasn't been much quality time. Through all the sick time and bustle I'm still working so the poor things haven't seen a happy mommy in a long time. I'm glad that I have the flexibility that I can be here for them and still meet the demands of work, but sadly, I'm not good at it and though the job is happy I don't think my girls are so happy with me.
Brad is going out of town this weekend for a research trip so this weekend, pending no emergencies come up it is going to be just me and my girls. I'm coming up with list of different things they might enjoy and it is going to be up to them to tell me what to do. No schedule, no big world demands, just me and my girls finally spending some quality time.
