DC

I'm back from DC... what a wonderful city. I could live there for a few years, I really could. I was just so overwhelmed with the architecture, history and feel of the city. The only sad part was I really noticed the absence of Brad on my trip. Though I have adventured without him - typically with my best friend - this trip was just an experience I should have shared with him. Now I have the city planned out and all the tips I need to make a successful trip with the family and because I had to see everything and didn't actually spend any time in lines or on tours we will be able to experience it all together. I have to say though that since I was by myself I was able to accomplish the task of seeing it all - well everything on my list from Union Station to the Lincoln memorial and most everything inbetween. Next trip I've got to go see THE documents and the Textile museum!

I missed my girls so much and enjoyed seeing them this morning. Lexi pulled me down in a hug and whispered in my ear "I love you" - yeah, I melted. They were very happy to know that I would be picking them up from school today. I can't wait!

All sight seeing was on Monday (conference Tuesday and Wednesday) and my legs and feet are still sore and I still have a bright red sunburn on my chest...oops!
