Arrival at Hogwarts! (( Open to everyone; save Voldie & Co. ))

Draco had, in fact, checked the closed-curtain rooms only to find that most of the students simply desired privacy. He had located several searching for a bit more than that, which had made him rather disgusted. Apparently some people were so needy that they couldn't even wait until they'd arrived to their dormitories. Pathetic beings with no self-control.

He had changed into his robes the minute he'd returned to the head compartment, smiling to himself when he discovered that the Mudblood was--apparently--still visiting with her friends. He was now lounging quite happily on the bench he'd occupied earlier, back resting comfortably on the wall. He'd changed early in hopes that he could get a short nap in before arriving at the school.

Draco was almost asleep when his body rocked against the wall, his eyes squeezing tight at the horrible sound of squeaking brakes. Cringing slightly, he lifted his hands to his face, placing his middle- and fore-fingers to his temples and rubbing in circular motions. Blasted second-rate equipment. You'd think, with all of the wealthy supporters, Hogwarts would be able to supply decent transportation.

Scoffing, Draco rose from his lazy position, opening his eyes as he stretched. Automatically, he focused on the dark sky outside, shaking his head at the thought of returning to school. Shame he'd chosen this path.

Pulling his trunk from the over-head baggage rack, Malfoy made his way out of the compartment and through the car, sure to shove every first-year out of his way as he passed. The moment he stepped off of the train, he took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly before making his way toward the carriages.

It was odd, being able to see the wretched creatures that pulled the four-wheeled buggies. Draco had always thought them bewitched to move on their own. So he stood puzzled in front of the disgusting creatures for only a moment before climbing inside the spacious interior of the covered cart. Hadn't he heard about those winged beasts in one of his classes?

It really was a shame that he had decided to return to this horrid place of putrid memories.
