(( I know I'm going against my own rule . . . But I figured I would get this out now. If you happen to be interacting with a character that we do not have, yet, please play both. We should come across more characters as we continue . . . But, I don't need absences to hinder the play. On with it!))

Draco's attention was completely focused on the train station waiting outside, steely eyes resting on the rushing figures of families and their adored children. He scoffed, rubbing at his forehead with one hand, eyes downcast to the floor at his feet. Hearing movement outside of the hallway, he focused on the glass window of the Heads' compartment door, watching a gangly first-year waltz by. A slight smirk tilted his lips at the thought of finally being able to torment the younger students . . . With a reason.

Hearing shouting outside of the train window, Malfoy jerked his head around so quickly that he could have sworn he felt the vertebrae pop. An irritated hiss rushed through his clenched teeth as he watched the excited movement outside the train. Bloody new students and their ruddy families.

The sound of the conductor hollering "all aboard" caught his attention, vision adjusting to stare at the bare seat across from him. Where was that blasted head-girl? His shoulders lifted and fell in a languid shrug, the train's engine cooing behind him. His vision fell upon the station once more, watching frantic members shoving last-minute items at their children and waving with tears in their eyes. Pathetic lot, they are.

The train gave a massive lurch, Draco steeling himself with his feet pressed firmly against the floor. It always was a rough start to the school year, the way the train took off like that. Another sucking of breath into his lungs signaled he was uncomfortable, his right arm itching at the searing pain on his left forearm. Somewhere, the Dark Lord was calling his followers. Certainly, the inner circle.

With one last, lengthy look out of the window, Draco settled his back against the cool glass, his eyes focused on the hallway and the students wandering about. Figuring the head-girl was a no-show, he closed his eyes. It had only been a second when the compartment door slid open to signal the female's arrival. Draco's eyes flew open, settling on the only figure that could have been clever enough for the other head position. Two words escaped his lips, "hello, Mudblood," which were accented by that signature smirk.
