Closed RP: Mel and Brice and Some *Serious* Flirting.

Newly Sorted into Gryffindor, Brice was walking aimlessly through the corridors, his hands shoved deep into his jeans pockets. He was trying to make a mental map of the place, but had to give up after five minutes. Hogwarts was huge. A part of him hoped to find Mel, to make things less confusing

Mel's head jerks up, as she was actually beginning to understand a sentence in the Handbook. (Chapter three, actually.)

'Brice! Don't scare me like that!' she scolds, and then notices he's not in the Sorting room. 'Congrats! They let you in.'

"They did," he nodded, sitting down beside her. "I'm in Gryffindor now." He smirked at her and nodded at the Handbook. "Trying to catch up on your studies there, sweetheart?"

'Hey, I don't even have to study this,' she defends herself. 'I'm being a good girl, yeah?'

"Being a good girl is pretty much an angel requirement, I should think," he said, leaning back a bit. "So. How've you been, then?"

"Sometimes you upset people without really... meaning to," he muttered, mostly to himself, and added to Mel: "Apparently, I've been doing that to her for some time now." He sighed. Come on, spill the beans, Brice... "Lola is a very insightful girl," he began diplomatically. "She's been noticing some things, um, about me when you're around."

Brice inwardly squirmed. So uncomfortable.

Ha, now he's embarrassed. Mel leans forward, eyes sparkling. 'Such as?'

"Apparently I grin more." His voice was dry and sounded sarcastic, but a genuine smile curved his lips when he said it.

'Serious indeed,' she says teasingly. 'Um. But. So, she broke up with you because...?'

Unable to finish the sentence, she tucks her hair behind her ear.

Mel flushes again. The girl has no control over it.

'I accept. If you're asking.'

Bwahaha, she made Brice worried. Her. She beams a bit. 'Yeah, but me blushing's nothing new.'

Brice didn't exactly mind.

"I'm asking," he grinned. "I'd have to ask around for interesting things to do around here, but we can work something out."

"Your blushing is quite..." Sweet. Nah, bad boys don't use that word. "...charming."

'It's a...' Hey, why not? '--date,' she replies, grinning fit to burst.

His blushing was adorable.

"Good! I suppose I... send you a message somehow when I've managed to figure out something to do, then."

To kiss her again, or not kiss her again, that is, truly, the question...
