Ryuuji: Welcome, one and all, to the first ever themed edition of WART! Stephen and I are going to your hosts for tonight, and we've decided to make the show revolve around Potions and Evil Clowns -- or more specifically, the repelling and hunting down of Evil Clowns. First, before you do anything, get your shot glasses out and make some Evil Clown ( Read more... )

I asked this before, without an answer - are Evil Clowns a really big problem, here? I've never seen one.

I am not sure who evaded your question or why, Miss Yubari, but the answer is that Evil Clowns are a problem everywhere. We have had several apply already, and not all of them were squibbed; those who were squibbed managed to create varying degrees of unpleasantness during their Sortings.

It was Lupin-san, but I don't think he meant to. We started talking about our Devenisian devils instead.

And drinking is the best way of combating them? Surely that affects your co-ordination, when trying to fight?

Evil Clowns are awful! We keep having them apply, but thankfully, they usually get squibbed. But still, the stress and dangers of dealing with them in the Sorting Room? That's totally not cool at all.

Plus, we have the Joker in Bitchiwitch, and he's awful. Killed one of the students here, and tried to kill some of the others, and his makeup leaves a lot to be desired because seriously, he's got no sense of style at all.

*pause*

...Have we met? I think that I must have missed your Sorting. I'm Ryuuji Otogi, Slytherin Prefect.

They do sound awful. But if they're being squibbed, at least someone's getting some fun out of them.

I thought that students weren't able to die on school grounds?

I'm Yubari Gogo, Hufflepuff. Or Gogo Yubari if you want to be American about it. Is being a prefect fun?

That's true! I wish that I knew for sure what was happening to them, though. My world, people don't stay dead once you kill them. You have to eradicate their souls as well. So I'm not sure if exorcisms are being performed or if it's just physical torture they go through.

And oh, I'm sorry, I was confusing, wasn't I? No, the student in question was killed before he got here, and he revived himself from the dead, and then got here after causing hell back home.

I think it's more like being British about it than American, since we're in Britain and it confused people when I did it the other way around. And being a Prefect is... well, I guess it's fun? It means that you have to be ready to deal with threats like Daleks, out-of-control werewolves, deadites and organize schoolwide events to keep the students entertained. And at least make a pretense of trying to keep order in the school though honestly, in this school, it's really hard to tell what counts as order and what doesn't ( ... )

Oh, you're from another world, then? I didn't know anything about that until I came here. I'd never heard about it before. Although people don't seem to be very good at staying dead here, either; I was dead for a little while, and so were most of the friends I've made here.

You were a little confusing, yes. But that makes sense. I would hate it if the person who killed me came here.

Britain, America, it's mostly the same really. *thoughtful pause* Yes, I'm thinking of trying for Hufflepuff Prefect. Ichimaru-san and I have already been organizing things for the Hufflepuffs, and I certainly don't mind being the bad guy, and I suppose this is my home now, so I wouldn't be all that pleased if lots of awful things happened here...

I'm from world -- um, actually, the sorting system is pretty much useless you're from there as well. And did you come back from the dead before you got here, or did you die and then end up here? 'cause we've had people of both types show up.

And I think that I'm confusing because I'm blitzed. Which means that I've imbibed too heavily of the grape. Or, in this case, the potato because vodka comes from potatoes. Who killed you and why? You don't need to answer if that was too personal a question.

*easy grin* Awesome! Kaylee's the current Prefect. Do you get on well with her? It's important to get on with the other Prefects, since you'll probably need to work together with them, and especially ones of your own House.

I just found myself here, after my death. It was very strange. But I know that Nny-chan came back beforehand.

You do sound quite drunk. Maybe I'll try some of your anti-clown drinks, they sound quite nice. Apart from the potato thing. *face clouds slightly* I... I was killed while protecting my mistress. By a woman called Black Mamba. I'm going to find her and kill her myself, one day.

I've not met Kaylee-san. Perhaps I'll owl her. I get on very well with most of the Hufflepuffs, but some of the other students are mean to my friends and I don't like that very much at all.

That's really weird. Were you in an afterlife or anything before or were you just dead and then suddenly here?

And okay! What flavor do you like? I can send you some via the shadows, 'cause we can't 'port stuff around here, but shadow-sending still works, luckily. And they don't taste like they're made from potatoes, so it's fine. *nods!* Ohhhhh. Why did that woman want to kill your mistress? And good luck finding her and dealing out revenge.

Really? That's too bad! It sucks when people can't just get along and fight all the time. Who are your friends? I think that I get on well with pretty much everyone, or at least, I hope I do. I mean, I got voted Most Popular in the yearbok, so that has to count for something, right?

If I was in the afterlife, it wasn't much of one. I was just bored. I think. And then I was here.

I don't know what that means, to give me some "via the shadows", but alright. I'd like an orange flavoured one. Or cherry. And it wasn't my place to know why she wanted to kill her, it was my place to -- never mind. When I find her, I'm going to make her wish she'd let me kill her first time around.

My best friends here are Primavera-chan and Nny-chan. I don't like it when people insult them, or upset them. It's nice that lots of people like you though. Doesn't it make it difficult when they insult one another? Who do you back up?

But you existed after dying in a state where you were self-aware? That's kinda cool! Most of the others just say that the last thing they remember was getting killed.

*really should not be doing magic while drunk, but picks up the nearest two shots of orange and cherry Jello, then focuses on wrapping the shadows around them, then speeding them into the Shadow Realm and into Gogo's shadow* Okay! You should have them know. I dimensioned them through the shadows into your shadow so if your shadow is streaming behind you, careful, 'cause that's where they are. And okay. That makes sense, though since I'm a curious little brat, I would have wanted to know why anyone was trying to kill anyone else ( ... )

*her head disappears from the fireplace for a minute as she looks for the shots, feeling a little skeptical*

Oh! It worked.

*re-appears*

I've never had one of these before. *downs the orange one, looks thoughtful* Quite nice. Lots of people wanted to kill my mistress - I just never let any of them, before. She was very important.

My friends are wonderful. I'm glad you like them. I means you must be quite sensible, at least. And I don't like being unhappy either. It doesn't happen very often to me, which is nice, but I'm bored an awful lot. It just means I have to make my own entertainment.

*downs the cherry shot*

But fighting is fun! Except you can't kill anyone here. That's frustrating.

I'm glad that you like them! *watches her in the Floo with interest, then laughs* Oh, I'm an idiot! I could have tried just handing them to you instead of shadow-sending them over ( ... )

Oh, you're able to do that? I'm not used to being a head in a fireplace. I wasn't sure. Another would be nice, I don't really care what flavour.

She was one of the greatest assassins in the world. Then she became head of the Tokyo Yakuza clans. And a lot of people disliked the fact that she was partly Chinese and partly American.

Oh, I like lots of things. Do you want me to list them? I like driving and dancing and playing with my and Prima-chan's pups and shopping and sex and Nny-chan in a skirt running and manga. *giggles* Have you ever sparred against a manriki?

*eyes light up* Really? That would be fun... *looks thoughtful*

Well, we just did it for Frogman and Sirius and Sara, so it works! *carefully gets her strawberry and lime as flavors she hasn't tried yet, and puts them in front of the fireplace* Okay! Now just try reaching out for them and taking them.

*widens eyes* Ohhhh. That's cool. Seto's involved with the yakuza in my world, but that's definitely a different world from yours. Did your mistress have magic? Why did you work for her?

And those sound like fun! What type of pups? And what do you drive? And which manga? I brought a cool collection with me when I got here. *laughs and shakes his head* Nope! First time for everything!

*grins, wickedly playful* It's very fun. And very useful as well. Especially if you're sparring with someone that has a high pain tolerance and plenty of healing potions to fix everything afterwards...
