(( So yes, the TSH chars are incredibly plot-heavy at the moment -- apologies for cluttering the comm XD Timewise, this occurs after
Richard's confrontation with Henry and after
Camilla's subsequent conversation with Henry, but before
Judy Poovey's arrival.))
As she'd
told Henry, Camilla didn't expect any trouble with Richard. Whatever bizarre fantasies he might have harbored, surely they'd fade in the light of day, or wither in the face of Camilla's own complete neglect. She hadn't seen him since she left his room
the morning after the night they'd spent together, a few days ago. Nor had she written to him, or made even the slightest attempt to see him. Maybe he'd gotten carried away, and now he'd have come back down to earth.
She'd shrugged off Henry's
offer of assistance against what he seemed to think were deeply entrenched delusions Richard would insist on maintaining. Everything would be fine. Henry was back. Everyone knew what that meant for Camilla, surely.
Camilla could still be startlingly naive, at times ...
As for Bunny, she was furious with him, but unafraid. She knew how to cast
Protego, and she used it. A good Shield Charm should deflect whatever Bunny tried throwing at her.
So she was alone on her evening walk, without even Silas to accompany her, when she caught sight of a familiar figure coming up the road from Hogsmeade. Without trepidation, but with the faintest twinge of annoyance -- she really didn't feel like dealing with people at the moment, or at least people who weren't Henry -- she waved.
