A photograph of a drawing I saw today reminded of me of the summer I was in several Natural History Camps. Amazing that my outstanding memory of that summer wasn't learning to swim or camping or anything useful, but of how many times people told me that I looked like Opal Jennings. I was thinking about how naomi says that two people who spend enough time together acquire eachother's habits, and I think that applies to hairstyles as well. Too-long-bangs is something I got from Alida, and the length/unbrushed-but-combed thing might be from Mary Katherine. Though I think Naomi herself might be immune.

The meeting with Traci Orr and turqoisebeatnik  about making the Guatemalan Adoption website went rather well, despite some long gaps in the conversation during which we all squirmed in our seats.

My piano teacher, Joe, gave a woman starting a Guatemalen adoption agency my number so that I could make a website for her.

turqoisebeatnik  and I are meeting her tommorow at Legal Grounds to talk about it, and plan it, and money it.

I was staring out my window in the attic today, for an amount of time I don't think I ever will, or will ever want to, know.
