Website!

The meeting with Traci Orr and turqoisebeatnik  about making the Guatemalan Adoption website went rather well, despite some long gaps in the conversation during which we all squirmed in our seats.

The hardest part was actually meeting. I arranged for us to meet at Legal Grounds at 9:30, which by the way, is closed on Labor day. My father and I waited until Traci got there, when we decided to go to cafe brazil. Naomi gets there with her father, and they start to walk to cafe brazil. My dad and I follow at a safe distance. We arrive, and there is not a table big enough for all of us because all of the Legal Grounds junkies have moved in with the Cafe Brazil junkies for Labor day. So Naomi, me, and our fathers walk back to our cars so that we can drive to my house 6 blocks away and meet on my front porch.

After that it was alright. I don't think any of us has ever done something like this before, so as far as standards, we're in the dark. Naomi and I are splitting the $200 dollar flat fee with some extra hourly stuff. We will most likely spend it on a trip to Buffalo Exchange/BonTon.

I'll post a link to the website when all the pages work, in case you want to know what it looks like or feel like adopting a guatemalan baby. This is probably the most I've gotten done on a single website in a day, ever.

Happiness!

naomi
