Computers all day

On Thursday Hob and Boom went to the thrift store for a monitor Hob saw and wanted, a Diamondvision by Mitsubishi in black. It looks like something old with a more square shape, but actually it has a flat screen face, and as I woofed the color is a more modern black. It might be more office or pro oriented we were thinking. It does look good and sharp on the computer.

That's the other thing we did today, got Hob's little Acer set up, on a table in her room, and got most of the stuff working. The Collie and Werevereen have now been here for two months, so that was a cool thing to achieve. Hob got sound through the Hannah Montana amp, video through the new monitor, and was using it and happy to have her own computer now. I made her disks of the mp3 songs we have been enjoying in the car while we are out.

Hob got a bike light and generator at the thrift store too and she tried it. A little motor attaches to the bike and as the wheel turns it sends power to the lights, front and back. Hob put the tail light on only, and it seemed to have burned out already.

Earlier in the week Lynda called and said that her monitor was not coming on, so we took one of our old screens down and replaced hers, and she was glad to be on the net again. We got to woof about money stuff and see Maya the Dog and Pookie and Yin Yang the Cats, and have some banana bread and pasta, it was a lot of fun to visit.
