Trashing
On Monday Hobnose and me went to check the smashed chair we had thrown off of the train bridge by Camp Bow Wow. It was pretty well mangled, but it still resembled a chair.. :) Since there was construction along the way that made it hard to get there, we were going to walk back around the block a different way that would have been longer. Instead we headed for the train tunnel under Green Tree. Hob and me seem to end up at that tunnel on every visit, and walk through even though it's all the way dark and full of sticky mud. Like last time I had my camera and recorded a sound track, this time getting a lot of Hobnose singing.
We got back and were hungry, thinking of getting gyros for lunch, but ending up at Arby's instead. Along the way we found After that it was the thrift store where we played with the toys and got a car to tie a string to. At home it was some car unpacking, getting Shadow's (Werevereen's) fursuit out to work woof on, and then Hobnose and me went to Save-A-Lot for food. We had been buying just enough food for a day, but this time we got enough for the week.
Later we went trashing and found a whole bunch of stuff, including a table to use as a computer table for Hobnose, a flat screen TV, clock radio, and a toilet to hopefully replace mine upstairs with. It's one of those good old ones from 1955 like we used to have and replaced, then felt sorry we did that because the new one never flushed well since. If it's good I want to put it in soon, and it should be a nice project for Collie and me to do. I actually had been wanting to have an old fixture since the old one in the garage works woof so well.
Today we might go to Ron's house to help put up his TV antenna and have some pizza, should be fun!
