There's a theme here on LJ where people post links to what they wrote this year. I wrote two things that are actually done, and started another story that quickly got dropped when I realized I had no clue where it was going. So I'll post those two things here, with some comments. They were written within two weeks of one another. Go figure.

Personal Perspective

As I said to jetpackmonkey, no one dies, no one gets laid. It's like I don't even know myself anymore.

On the third of July, I spent most of the afternoon writing. I got out six good pages that I'm quite happy with. I think I finally got Harry Dresden's voice right. I plan to write during my lunch breaks this week and take at least one night for myself to write. So I plan to continue this.

I wrote this as a remix for my best friend in all the world, sadiekate. It was a remix of Grand Canyon, a story she wrote a while ago which involved a road trip. And, as the two of us drove from Florida to Los Angeles together one summer, I knew that was the story I had to remix.

Anyone mind letting me bounce some ideas off of them for a Buffy/VM crossover sequel to Three Hours to Sunrise? I have a bunny and some points of interest, but no real conflict and no ending.

I wrote this story for sadiekate. This is a prequel/sequel remix of Grand Canyon, and will be cross-posted on the community revisit_me, which is a sort of remix community thing.
