Edit w/ READ THIS FIRST: My posting about RP problems and such does not mean I am seeking help for them every time. This post in particular is meant just to explain some stuff that is going on and if necessary, discuss related things in the comments.

Okay, so, it was recently decided through a conversation with vandaeron that it's time to let Dark Corona ( Read more... )

Yeah, TFW is the last thing on my end for DE too. I feel bad that things went the way that they did, but pulling the curtain call would probably be best.

Looking back on it, I think letting everything fall into a single timeline and universe was a mistake; it had gotten to the point where any problem on one front usually meant problems for the others in some way, with the problems varying in severity depending on how much each person's own things were affected.

For one thing, the whole deal with missing characters that I referenced in a recent post. I know that I'm not the only one who would be affected by that. It's one of the things that forced Emerald Chronicles down the drain, isn't it?

It was good for a while until the soap couldn't stay out of things, yes. Of course thsts probably why I eventually made Ex7.

Even EG/Ex7 is affected to some extent by missing characters, though. Characters still present there that this might eventually be a problem for include Jen, and then Inori and Nao, yeah? Hell, Inori is downright unplayable without her 'brother'...

At least some part of all this mess now is because I was an idiot. I'm sorry.

Well yeah. But there are ways around it all...

Don't take it so hard. Stuff does happen at times...

If there are ways to fix the holes, then we find them and take care of them. I don't like simply ignoring them.

With Jen, we've all so far assumed that Rhumenos had to leave to take care of some other business and will simply return whenever or possibly never. That generally works.

For Inori though, how am I supposed to handle Shi's absence if Inori herself exists as an AI attached to a device specifically in his possession?
