meh!!!!!
So this weekend was absolutely amazing. I went to Mackinac Island with NUHE (Northwood University Hospitality Enterprizes)Left at 12:30 on Saturday, got there around 4. It was a geogeous day, but cold as heck. Of course they dont have cars there, just horses, in which we werent about to pay $3.75 to be taken to the Grand Hotel. No...that would be a waste of money. Hahah, walking around in high heals and the wind was blowing really strong...bad idea. Lol. Checked into the Grand, then went up to start getting ready for dinner. I got to wear my homecoming dress from Junior year:)Had a five course dinner, then went to the ballroom to do some dancing. So much fun! The ballroom was so romantic. The lights were down and they had a candle at each table. They had a live band that played songs by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Elvis...very classy. Definately a place you want to go to with someone special. "The best date I ever took myself on." Lol. The next day we listened to a historian talk about the hotel, and then we took a tour of the kitchen. By the time that was done, we decided that we were going to leave because we had an exam to study for. Funnnn.
This week is going to be crazy. AUTO SHOW!!!! Cant wait.
I'm so lazy today. Really sick of constantly doing homework. But OBVIOUSLY it's a given. I would love just to take the night off from it. If not, I'm still going to bed early!
