I have been so insanely busy! This is the first weekend that I don't have plans! Besides cleaning and doing some homework.
Getting involved with so much has been amazing. Last weekend was auto show. I had a blast! I was on team Mitsubishi, and was able to drive a Lancer and a Spyder. Soo much fun, and soo much power. Lol. Thursday (10/7) my team and I went and picked the cars up, brought them back to NU and set our display. It took from 8:30 in the morning till 6:30 that night. After we finsihed with that I went back to the apartment and Matty was there!! The first of my friends to come to Midland and see my place. Lots of fun.
Friday morning I had to get up at 8 to be at school at 9. We had some finishing touches to do on the display, and then the show opened @1. It rained so that kinda sucked. So from Saturday through Sunday it was basically the same routine. Sunday was the last day for the show so it closed at 5. After that it was tear down. Took till 9 that night, but I was able to drive a Spyder! How could I really complain. Lol. It was so hard to not speed. I got it up to 95, but that was only because there were state troopers EVERYWHERE. Damn them! The Lancer, when I drove it on Thurday I got up to at least 105-110 mph. Too scared to go any faster not knowing where cops were. That weekened was awesome.
This past week was full of the usual meetings. Wednesday I went to recruting for Alpha Kappa Psi..the business Fraternity. Went and hung out with all the brothers with the girls to see if this is what we wanted to do.
Thursday Joyce and I did window modeling for Leslie. We were dancers in the window called "My first dance recitial." What happens is we stand there for 1 1/2 hours and be mannequins. We had so many compliments about how pretty we looked and how still we were. Then her professor came to judge our window. You can win, best window, or best models, etc. Friday morning Joyce and I found out that we won best models! Friggin sweet. We get to be in the Midland newspaper as well as the newspaper in Macomb!! That day we also went to go pick up our bids from Alpha Kappa Psi. I'm offically pledging! In 7 weeks I'll be a brother :)
So yeah, life has been non-stop here...lovin' every minute of it.
I'm going to get back to some homework so my Sunday isnt crazy. Talk to ya'll later!
