[Action → Around Mayfield]
[for those of you who actually bother to make the morning commute to work/school, you might have a little trouble today. there, right in the middle of the road, is a very big, fat cat-like creature sleeping serenely despite all the traffic going on around it. cars beep their horns furiously at it and find a way to drive

that isn't happening today. nope.
she stands outside the house, staring at the window. she doesn't seem... worried. just confused. so, to investigate, she goes inside to find the... cat-thing. she gently sets her books on the counter and watches it for a few moments before...]] You are very large!

"Snoore..."
[it's not an irate or particularly threatening growl - just a very sleepy, lazy one. it's said right as he smashes a jar of pickles against the wall, splattering pickle juice and scattering glass before he actually begins to reach his paw into the jar, picking one pickle out at a time before devouring it.
he isn't very concerted that she's been found out either. just another day in Snorlax's life.]

she walks over to a cupboard, and opens it. she keeps the cookie jar there! carefully, she takes it out and closes the cupboard. then, she approaches the large creature and takes a cookie out, holding it out to him.]] Would you like a cookie? Or are they bad for you...?

he chews and swallows, then makes a content noise before licking his chops.]
"Snorlaaaax."
[and before long, he's trying to climb to his feet to totter over to the cookie jar for more.]

Wait... You say the same thing Lax does! Dia did say he would get older... [[a small gasp.]] Lax, is that you?! Did you finally grow up? Oh, wow, I can't wait until Dia gets home, he'll be so happy!

Laaaaaaax! [[it's pretty sleepy sounding, and it probably taking a nap in the middle of the floor. nia stops and looks the way the cry came, and then back at the bigger beast.]]
You are... Not Lax.

[[she turns the cookie jar upside down and shakes it. no more cookies!]] Oh, they are all gone...

"Snorlaaax!"
[it's about a decibel close to a roar, but it's not an angry one. think of it more as a call - a way for him to identify more of his kind in the wild.
but it's not as important as the cookies. licking the crumbs from his mouth, Snorlax waits expectantly for more. when Nina fails to deliver, it gently takes the jar from her hands and turns it over, then tries to crane its head under it so as to check if anymore cookies are hiding inside in corners he can't find.]
"...Laaax."
[he sounds very sad.]

There isn't any left. Don't be greedy.
[there's Red, standing at the broken window, watching this whole scene play out with some curiosity. it isn't quite hard to track a Pokemon as big as Snorlax, but the roar helped a great deal.
carefully, he picks himself up by using the window ledge and hops inside, walking through the living room to the kitchen. he looks over at Nina and tips her his hat.]
Hi.

[[munchlax waddles in, drawn in by the roar.]] Lax? Munch, munchlax...? [[he looks at the snorlax. he is evaluating this situation, it seems...]]

...Yeah. He is.
[handing the jar back to Nina, Red unclips Snorlax's Pokeball from his belt and prepares to call him back inside of it before Munchlax appears. Snorlax looks down at his pre-evolved form and rumbles another sleepy, hungry growl while Red glances back at Nina, tilting his head.]
You're a Trainer, too?

Hm? No, Lax is not my Pokemon. He is Dia's, he lives in this house with me and Badou! [[she laughs a little.]] He also has a very large turtle! And it has a tree on it's back!
[[she looks at munchlax, who is still kind of just... staring at snorlax.]] I will try to find you some food, Lax, do not worry. Ah. Should they not be around each other? Will they fight?
