Anything that'll help. I hate feeling defenseless. Next time something like - that - happens, I want to be ready, and I don't want to be hiding.

"Snoore..."
[it's not an irate or particularly threatening growl - just a very sleepy, lazy one. it's said right as he smashes a jar of pickles against the wall, splattering pickle juice and scattering glass before he actually begins to reach his paw into the jar, picking one pickle out at a time before devouring it.

he chews and swallows, then makes a content noise before licking his chops.]

a big white table with a silly bow on it. an equally silly looking kid sitting atop it. what is this world coming to?]
"Laaaax. Snor...lax."
[and, surprise, Lucas is getting poked back. by a big paw, no less.]

[Lucas pulls back a little from the big paw before reaching out a small hand. ...He'll try to shake one of Snorlax's claws.]
I'm sorry. You looked so... fluffy.
Reply
"Lax..."
[and duh, of course he's fluffy. everyone knows that, not least of all the children that used to use his belly as a trampoline back when he was still wild. which is what he assumes Lucas wants to do right now.
gently, Snorlax opens his paw up and gently reaches out to hook one claw under the collar of Lucas' shirt, easily lifting him up off the table and onto his big, furry stomach.]
