A few months has passed by. Show after show, concert after concert, interviews after interviews, and every other things has passed by but Jin still acting coldly toward Kame. All KAT-TUN members were resting in the practice room. After the tiring practice, everyone was not incapable of speaking anymore. They have been given an hour of break for lunch. So, everyone start leaving the room to go for lunch leaving behind only two person left. Jin was waiting for Yamapi while reading the new Duet magazine where Kat-tun was on the cover for that month. Kazuya pulled out a plastic box from his bag. Slowly, he approached Jin.
“Erm..Ano….Jin. I’ve made pasta today. You…you like pasta, aren’t you? So..here..”
With a shaky hand, Kazuya offer the box to Jin. Even though Jin has asked him to stay away from Jin, Kazuya never give up. He’ll do anything to win Jin’s heart back. Chocolates, flowers, soft toys, and many other things have been sends to Jin’s apartment every single day. And now he wants to try his luck with something different. Jin put down the magazine aside and was about to say something when suddenly Yamapi entered. Both of them turn their look to Yamapi. Seeing Yamapi somehow makes Kazu’s heart unease. Is it because of jealousy? Or maybe the guilty he felt toward that man. Quickly, he put down the box in front of Jin.
“ Ah! Gomen! I’ve forgot that I’ve promised Maru that I’ll meet him at the ramen shop. I should make my move now.”
Then, he grabbed his bag and headed toward the door. He throws a smile for Yamapi but quickly look away when their eyes met. Yamapi shifted his look from Kazu’s back to Jin confusingly.
“Did I interrupting something?” Yamapi asked.
“Nothing actually. You just save me! Let’s go?”
Even though Yamapi still feel unsatisfied with Jin’s answer, he just nodded.
“Eh, what’s in the box?”
“Kazu’s hand-made pasta.”
“You’re not going to eat it?”
“No. I better not…or else I’ll be addicted to his cooking.”
“Well, at least keep it somewhere else where he won’t see it. He’ll be really upset if he saw you just leaving it like this.”
Jin grabbed the box and headed toward the door. In the way to the elevator, he saw Kazuya walking back toward them. The three of them look uncomfortable when their looks clashed.
“You guys are leaving for lunch? I forgot my keys in the practice room. That’s why…”
Kazu’s voice was stopped when he sees the lunchbox in Jin hand. His eyes were shining brightly and a smile was formed on his lips. Just when he was feeling a bit of happiness, it has been totally crashed with Jin’s next words.
“Take this back! I don’t like pasta anymore.” Jin shoved the lunchbox into Kazu’s hand. Then he walked away entering the elevator with Pi. Pi knew whatever he says right now won’t be heard by Jin. So he decide to remain silent.
Kazuya froze. The feeling in his heart was hurting him badly right now. He try his very best to stop the threatening tears from flowing out from his beautiful eyes. With a weak step, he throws the lunchbox into the dustbin beside the practice room’s door. He flipped open his phone.
“ Hello? Maru? Can you tell the others that I’m taking a half day off today? I’m not feeling very well right now….No,don’t worry. It’s nothing serious. I can take care of myself…. Okey. Arigato. Ja neh.”
After taking his keys, he went out from Jimusho’s building and drive straight to his house. He really needs a good sleep right now. He needs to calm himself down.
Jin notices that Kazuya was not there after all of them return from lunch. When Nakamaru announce that Kazu has taken a half-day off, he feels worried. Am I too harsh? Did he really sick? Did I hurt his feeling badly? Question by question keeps popping in his head. And because of that, he can’t focus at all during the whole practice.
Everyone has left home except Jin. Even Yamapi has gone home. Jin has told him that he wanted to stay back for a while to practice all the dance moves. After feeling tired, Jin stops and packed his things. When he was about to leave the room, he notice the lunchbox in the dustbin. His heart was filled with various feeling right now. Hurt, pain, happy, love, miss, and every other thing. He picked up the lunchbox and gently opens it.
He made this for me… He remembers my favorite food… Why are you so nice to me,Kazu… You shouldn’t treat me like this… or else it’ll be hard for me to let you go….
With tears running down his cheeks, he eats the pasta. Even though it’s all mess up now, it taste really good… not only because its Kazuya’s cooking, but also because he can taste the sincerity in there. Without him realizing it, he finishes the whole box and he keeps the box with him.
I’m sorry Kazuya….
Meanwhile, Nakamaru decide to stop by at Kame’s apartment. He really worried about the younger men. He know something was wrong when Kame suddenly call him and say he’s not feeling well even though he look perfectly fine during the morning. When he reach Kame’s door, he try to open the door and it is unlock! He knew it. When Kame is having a problem, safety is the last things that he’ll be concern of. He pretty sure that if any thief knew this, then Kame’s house will be empty by now. And you still say that I don’t have to worry about you!... He enters the already familiar apartment and surprised to see how messy it is after switching on the light. Okay,I’ve changed my mind! No thief will be willing to rob this kind of house! He walks around looking for the owner of the house to find the said person sprawling on the bed with empty cans of beer around him.
“Kame-chan? What the hell?! Didn’t I tell you NO ALCOHOL when you’re alone? Look how messy you are now! Get up! Let’s clean you up.”
He tries to pull the thin figure up but failed when Kazuya pull him back and they ended up with him on top of Kazuya. Now, he can clearly see that beauty eyes have redden due to too much of crying. Gently, he touches the man’s cheek.
“What’s wrong,Kazuya? What happen?”
“He…He won’t accept it. He gives it back to me…. He didn’t like it… he hates everything about me now… Even his favorite food become his most hated food now just because I’ve made them for him.. I just want him to taste it… But he throw it back at me…I don’t know if I can hold on any longer, Yuu.. Maybe I should just give up…” Tears start to flow down again. Nakamaru can feel his own heart was hurt by watching Kame like this. He placed a soft kiss on Kazuya’s forehead and held him close to him. While brushing Kame’s hairs with his fingers, he tries to calm the man down. Depression is not good to Kazuya’s health. Doctor has reminded him that no matter what happen, don’t let Kazuya depressed again. Even though they can say that Kazuya has mostly recovered now, but they can’t say that it is 100% sure that he will not hurt himself anymore.
“You shouldn’t give up yet. You should show him how sorry you are and how much you love him. You haven’t even confessed yet. I’m sure that one day he will forgive you, Kazu. You know, even the mountain rock can broke if we pour water non-stop. I don’t think Jin have a stone-heart. Maybe just a wooden-heart.”
Kazuya chuckled at Maru’s last sentence.
“What if he has a metal-heart?”
“Then he’ll be dead right now due to global warming!”
Once again,Kazuya chuckled. Maru smile seeing that gloomy face before has already turns brighter now. He tightens his hug around Kazuya’s smaller waist. Kazuya also wrapped his arms around Maru’s waist and rest his head on the man arm. Both of them didn’t realize when they fell asleep in each other embrace. The night crawled away taking the sweet memory with him and giving a way for the promising tomorrow to come.

Today, KAT-TUN has been invited as guest at Hey! Hey! Hey! Talk show. During the whole show, Jin and Kame try to act like nothing had happen between them even though it’s clearly shown that they were pretending. Suddenly, Hamada-san asks them something that make both of them startled.
“Do you have anything that you’ve regret in this life? Or do you have any confession to make?”
All of them were frozen for a moment. Then, Kame raises his hand.
“I have something to say.”
“Douzo, Kamenashi-kun.”
“I want to apologize to two of my former best friends. They are my best buddy I have until I’ve hurt them. I’ve done a terrible mistake to them. A mistake that I’m willing to trade over my life if I can ever change it back. A mistake that deserve no forgiveness. I really feel sorry and regret for the whole things that has happen in the past.”
The whole studio fell silent and everyone especially Jin was shocked when Kazuya suddenly get up from his seat and kneel down on the floor while saying out loud,
“HONTOU NI SUMIMASENDESHITA!”
Anyone who was watching at that particular moment can tell that Kazuya was almost crying by hearing his hoarse voice. All of Kat-tun members get up and surrounded Kame to pick him up-except Jin. He felt as if he has no energy left to get up. All of his strength has flown away from the moment Kazuya starts his confession.
Stupid Kame! Other people will think you’re a bad person now!
Meanwhile, Yamapi was watching the show at home. He has accidently dropped his glass when Kazuya get up and kneeled down on the floor to apologize in front of the entire JAPAN!
Baka! We’ve already forgive you! You will ruin your career like that!

Everyone was waiting patiently in the practice room. Kazuya has been called to Johnny’s office from the moment they reach Jimusho back up until now. It has been almost an hour now. The other members know exactly who did Kame was apologizing to back then but none of them know the real reason behind it except Maru and Ryo. So, all of them decide to keep silent. Jin just sits on the couch wearing his “NO EXPRESSION” mask on his face. Even though he loves Kazuya so much, still a part of him can’t forgive Kazuya for what he has done to Pi. Or maybe the real reason he was so hurt was the fact that Kazuya was cheating behind his back in the past. The fact that Kazuya didn’t love him as he does to the man. That’s why he was trying to distance himself from him. When the door opened and Kazuya stepped in, the whole members surround him and questions by questions were pouring onto him.
“Why did it take such a long time?”
“What did he say?”
“What happen in there?”
“Nothing. He just scolded me for doing things without thinking first. He just warned me not to do anything foolish again. Moreover, we will have concert next month, isn’t it? He afraid that it will affect the ticket selling. ”
“Damn that old man! Can’t he think about anything else except money?!”
“Cool down,Koki! We should feel relieve that he didn’t suspended Kame.”
Jin was relief to hear what Kazu has said before. Still acting like he doesn’t care, he walks out from the room leaving the rest of his friends there. Koki can’t hold up his anger anymore so he follows Jin out. Of course none of their friend realizes this or else they must have stopped him. Jin was about to enter the elevator when he felt an arm dragged him to the stairs door.
“Damn it, Jin! I don’t know what happen between you and Kame but can’t you just forgive him already! It has been about a year now, for God’s sake! He has done so many things for you!”
“How dare you! You know nothing about what he has done before! So don’t tell me to forget everything easily! It’s not like he’ll die if I don’t forgive him!”
“For your information, he almost did!”
Koki was about to continue when Maru come and dragged him away while apologizing to Jin and tell him to go home.
“Let me go,Maru! He need to know that Kazuya almost die because of him! Because he leaves him!”
“Shut up,Koki! We promise Kazu before that no matter what happen, we won’t tell Jin or Pi about Kazuya trying to kill himself, remember?!”
Koki fell silent after that. With furious anger, he punched the wall behind him hard. He hates this! When he can’t do anything other than watching the two persons he care was hurting each other with their own stupidity! Maru tapped Koki’s shoulder. He understands Koki’s feeling. But he knows why Kazuya want to keep it as a secret. He afraid that Jin will think he’s a freak if he knew about that incident.

They were shooting their PV for DUES. Everyone was resting while waiting for the staff to call them to continue their shooting. Koki saw a military knife on the corner of the shooting sets. He grabbed it and his mind keeps thinking about ways to play with it. Kazuya realize it and both of them start to mess around. They keep playing with each other trying to lighten up the mood to a better atmosphere.
“YOUtachi, surrender or you will die!”
Koki playfully act as a pirate. Kame decided to play along with him.
“You can kill me but I will never surrender my ship!”
“Then you shall die now!”
Playfully, Koki shove the knife acting as if he was stabbing Kame. Both of them shocked when something drop from on top of them. And because of that, Koki accidently cut Kame’s palm with the knife.
“WhAT THE HELL?!”
All of the people there was shocked when suddenly a very angry Maru comes toward those two and snatch the knife from Koki and throw it to the wall. They never see Maru get angry like this.
“DON’T PLAY AROUND WITH STUFF LIKE THAT!” Maru point his index finger to Koki’s face while gripping the collar of Koki’s shirt and then turn his look at Kame. His expression changed from angry to worry.
He grabbed Kame’s arm and dragged him out from the sets. Once they were out from the building,Maru embrace Kame tightly. Kame can hear how fast Maru’s heart beating was.
“Don’t scare me like that anymore… I’m so scared that you’ll hurt yourself again.”
“Baka! I’m fine now. I won’t do such crazy things anymore.”
“Promise?”
“Cross my heart!”
Meanwhile…..
All of the people startled. Then, Ueda says to Koki,
“You shouldn’t have play with knife! You know how traumatic Maru has been after Kame’s incident back then.”
“I was just joking. I didn’t intentionally hurt him.”
“Well, try to joke if you were the one who found him all covered with blood and already half dead!” Taguchi suddenly shout.
Jin was shocked again by Taguchi’s words. He turns his look at Ueda,Koki,and Taguchi where Taguchi was covering his mouth and both Koki and Ueda was sending the poor boy a death glance!
“What did you say? What happen to Kame?”
None of them says anything. Jin starts to feel impatient.
“I want to know what the hell have happen to KAZUYA!”
The three of them look at each other and sighed. Now, they have no other choices other than to tell Jin the whole story. So, Ueda start to speak up.
“The day you went away, Maru found Kazuya in his apartment-bleeding and half death. He…he cuts his own wrist. Luckily, Maru arrived on time.”
Koki continue, “ The doctors says that he’s in depression. It’s not the first time he hurt himself. They found out that there have been many scars on his thigh too. But the wrist thing was the deepest cut he ever made.”
Jin fell down on the chair. He can’t believe what he just heard.
He really cut his own wrist that time… I abandoned him… If only I go to him at that time, then he won’t be cutting his own wrist. It’s my entire fault!
“Koki…is this’s you’ve been trying to tell me last time?”
Koki nodded. Jin felt as if there’s not enough air in the room. So he runs out to find some air. When he saw a pair was hugging each other tightly, he felt a tears running down from his eyes.
I’m sorry,Kazuya. I’m so sorry. I didn’t believe you will really do it at that time. You’re right. I’m not the one for you. I’m not there when you need me. I left you instead of helping you. Maru’s different. He was always there for you. May you have the happiest life after this Kazu… May you guys be happy always… I’m not worth it for you…. That’s why, I’m letting you go…
Jin turns back to the sets. When he sees the three, he asked them to keep it a secret about him knowing all that stuff they just told him. They agree and Jin promise them that he won’t treat Kame coldly again after this even though he won’t treat him friendly either.

Everyone from Kat-tun and News was hanging at Ueda’s apartment. They were celebrating Kat-tun’s new concert, Queen of Pirates that has been started for days now. The next two days will be the last day of their concert tour. Since Ueda house is the biggest among them, they decide to throw a party there. After drinking and partying, all of them were sleepy. So, they just sleep where they can find a place to sleep. Junno, Shige, Koiichi and Koki already passed out on the couch at the living room while Ryo and Ueda go up to their room. Jin already felt asleep in the guest room. Kame was drinking alone at the balcony when he senses someone was at his back. He turned around and meets Yamapi’s face.
“H..hi,Pi. Still awake?”
“Yeah…I’m not easily drunk, you know.”
Both of the man smile. After a few moment of silent, Kazuya glance at Yamapi beside him. He accidently saw a scar on Yamapi’s chest from the unbutton part of Yamapi’s shirt. Guilty was taking over him. Without realizing it, he reached out to touch the scar. Yamapi was shocked with Kazu’s action.
“This…this scar… I did it, isn’t it? Oh! My God! No wonder you guys can’t forgive me. I’m such a terrible person! I’m a monster!”
Yamapi can feel Kazu’s hands shaken. He held those hands into his and affixes it to the scar.
“It’s healed. See? As how as this scar has healed, that is how my heart has heal too. I have forgiven you Kazuya. I know you’ve changed.”
“Really? Did you really forgive me, Pi?”
Pi smile and nodded his head.
“Thank you. Thank you so much, Pi.”
Kazuya launch himself to Pi and both of them embrace each other for a while before Pi pulled away a bit and ask kazuya,
“Kame-chan,can I ask you something?”
“what?”
“That night, why are you so angry actually?”
“I don’t know. When I see you kissing Jin, I totally lost my mind.”
Kazu sighed and distances himself from Yamapi to stare at the night skies.
“Maybe…I was jealous…”
Jealous? Masaka…
Yamapi was about to say something when suddenly a drunken Maru come to them and was about to fell down in front of them if it’s was not for Kame who catch him on time.
“Kaaaameeee-chan~~ I miss you!!!!”
“Yuichi, I’ve only left you for a few minutes. You told me to assess my own alcohol level ability but you yourself are drunk?! Come one. Let’s get you to sleep now.”
Kame excuse himself and Maru from Yamapi and walked to another guest room while taking Maru with him. After he settled Maru down on the bed and blankets his body, he want to walk away but his hand was held tightly by Maru.
“Ne…Yuu-kun. If Jin didn’t want me, would you take care of me?”
Unconsciously he asked. Then he smiles to himself when he realizes that it’s a stupid action to ask from a drunken man like that. Just as he was about to get up once more, he heard Maru’s voice.
“Of course, Kazuya. I’ll be with you forever. I’ll take care of you for the rest of your life. Even though I’m not Jin, I’ll try my best to make you happy.”
Kazuya don’t know whether Maru is awake or not because his eyes were closed. But those words are enough for him. He walked out from the room and headed towards Jin’s room. Slowly, he enters the room. He was mesmerized by Jin’s beauty. His peaceful face is being shine with the light of the moon from outside the window. He slowly makes his way to Jin’s bed. And he tries his best not to wake the man up when he sits on the bed’s corner. Not satisfied with the view he had on Jin’s face from afar, he slowly lie down beside Jin. Now, there are only a few inches between their faces. Gently, he trace down his fingers along Jin’s eyebrow. Slowly it move down to Jin’s nose and move a little lower to the man’s lips.
“You’re beautiful, Jin.”
“You’re just too beautiful until I can’t take my eyes off you. I can’t resist touching you. I can’t resist being addicted to you.”
Kazuya pull Jin’s body into his embrace. He misses this. He misses Jin’s scent. He misses everything they had before.
“ I thought that it just an obsession. But I was wrong. By the moment I realize it, it’s already too late. I know that what I’ve done is terrible. You’ve given me one chance but I blew it off. Maybe we don’t belong together. Maybe, you just not mine. I’ve given you a hard time, wasn’t it? Don’t worry. I’ll leave you alone after this, Jin. I promise. If that’s what you want, I’ll do it. It’s time for me to let go, right?”
Tears start to running down from Kazu’s eyes.
“You’re the best things that happen in my life. I love you, Akanishi Jin…. Always have and always will…”
Gently, Kazuya bend down and kiss Jin lips. It was a soft and a tender kiss. His first kiss. He tries his best not to wake Jin up. Before leaving, he whispered, “Sayonara,Jin.”
When the door was closed, Jin opens his eyes. The pool of tears on the edge of his eyes broke and tears are flowing greatly onto his cheeks. He touches his own lips. Kazu’s words keep repeating themselves in his mind…
“I love you,Akanishi Jin…. Always have and always will…”
“I love you,Akanishi Jin…. Always have and always will…”
He turns to his side and touches the empty space of bed by his side- the place that Kazu just lay down just a moment before… he bend his body so that his nose was at the bed sheet, smelling Kazu’s left scent on it. He misses him so much… he held the pillow tightly as if he was holding Kazuya in his arms…
“I love you,Akanishi Jin….”
I love you too Kamenashi Kazuya….
