The other week at the Fencon meeting, theturbonerd gave me this box set of 100 sci fi movies he found at Wal-Mart. I have a similar set of 50 movies (in fact a number of the movies from my previous set appear here) but there are plenty of things I hadn't seen before that did interest me. I've been hearing a lot of friends rave about the BBC's reinterpretation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's consulting detective. So I downloaded the first movie (at 90 minutes long, it's hard to call it an episode) and it's easy to appreciate what everyone sees in it.
