Good morning, pretty ones!
How're you guys? I hope your weekend was amazingly awesome!
I knew I only had a very short time left until my due date...but just how close I am didn't really sink in until this morning.
Only eight more days 'til my due date! Which seriously only means I'm getting closer to the gray area of term but you know...
Man, if she doesn't decided to go over term, our baby girl will be here any day! Any day now we could have her in our arms at last! I'm so excited, nervous, anxious, impatient and just downright scared about a few things. The great unknown! With this being my first pregnancy I have no idea what to expect outside of the textbook knowledge a mother-to-be gains through all the suggested reading and doctor's visits.
I did have a false labor incident a couple of weeks ago that gave me a lovely preview of what my early contractions will feel like...not fun, not fun at all. At least I know what to look for before rocketing to Labor and Delivery.
I hope she decides to greet this world in the evening during the week. That'll make certain that my doctor will be doing the delivery rather than either of his partners that would be on call...and make certain that Jarred doesn't have to travel at break-neck speed from work to get to the hospital.
But, you just can't plan around a normal vaginal delivery. A planned induction or c-section, sure...but, otherwise, it's waiting, hoping and jumping at shadows. God, I just cannot wait! I've got the nursery all setup and it looks so adorable but so lonely without our baby!
I have tons of sweet, adorable things for her...I must put them to use! Jarred can't wait to finally see her face-to-face. He says his arms are just aching to hold her. I'm anxious to see his face the first time he sees her...I know I'm going to cry, I just know it...it's going to be such a powerful moment.
Well I do believe I'll go try for some more rest. I didn't sleep well at all...my sciatic nerve was screaming at me through most of the night. Have a wonderful day lovelies!
