So normally my Death Note 'pairing' is all L and Light, but thanks to someone who knows very well who they are I have a deep love for Mello/Near, well apparently so does the creator! "Obata points out that Mello's envy and hatred of Near was only one-way, and that Near honestly loved Mello" So yeah.
