I suppose it is time I spoke up. Roger has made me aware of some of the issues, and while things are better, which was my intention, I'm still concerned. I want to make it clear that I do not intend to pick between the two of you. I hope this is not too much of a shock. The world does not need another L, especially one that is nothing more than some mimic of me so that whatever happened to me was kept a secret. I hardly care for the world, so why would I want someone to sacrifice their own personality to protect people who might not even deserve it. However, I realize that not everyone feels the way I do and like everyone I don't want to be forgotten. And I do want to leave something behind, but I would prefer it be on my terms. That being said I would like for you and Mello to work together. I believe that the two of you would match each other very well. I also think that you would balance each other's weaknesses. Perhaps it is a lot to ask of the two of you and I would understand if it doesn't interest you and the ultimate decision is up to you, yet I think the both of you could be very beneficial to the world and could do a lot of good.

You will likely only see this if I die because if I don't I will be able to say this to you directly, which I would prefer. If you do decide to work with Mello you have my appreciation. You also have it for even considering what I have to say. Thank you.

So, I ask that you act as my intellect. A knife that cuts through the lies and foolishness of the world not letting those who would take advantage get away without experiencing the consequences of their actions. Challenge them when no one is able to.
