Illiad had resigned himself to wait perched on one of the leather sofa in the corner of the Slytherin Commonroom furthest from the fire. That, of course, was where he always waited for Brinley when he figured they should meet up. 'Meet up'. What an intresting term for it.
But come to think of it, anyways, this was always where Illiad sat. Girls knew by now that if they approached him there, they would get no answer. Most boys did as well, unless they had something in particular to offer to the high-cheekboned boy. He made good use of his time-- the watch ticking on his wrist informed him that the time allotted for Arithmancy study would be over in thirty seconds.
Too bad I've been finished for a quarter of an hour, smirked the Slytherin to the Arithmancy book, laying across his knees. He looked up, waiting for Brinley to come.
