 Week Name/Date/Time: 'Something's Missing Here' / Saturday, September 15 2006 / 4:56 PM
Location: Library
Open To: Andy
Currently Involving: Illiad

He didn't need the library. Not today. But this was where he met them-- the ones he paid to spy for him. They were always so helpful, young, bright faced, willing to share the darkest secrets of their schoolmates for enough gold to buy a box of chocolate from the trolley on the Hogwarts Express, or for a well-written essay for their hardest classes.

Did Illiad feel bad for exploiting the younger members of the school? Of course not. It wasn't exploiting-- he was teaching them valuable lessons-- work hard, earn money. And more importantly, perhaps, don't discuss private issues where someone could overhear you.

"What was it he said?" he asked in his quiet, cool voice, a quill poised in one hand as he pointed to a line in a third year's Transfiguartion essay. He was supposed to be helping him with it-- tutoring. And it was under that guise he met his toadies. His 'dears' as he called them.

"He said he met her in the closet and they..." the third year blushed.

"...Aha. Thank you, Terrence," Illiad said, making a mental note of this and pulling a scroll from his pocket. "Why Bi-Matter Transfiguration Is More Difficult Than Singular. Re-write it in your own handwriting, or you'll never get another one. Be gone."

The boy took the scroll, grabbed up his book and his bag, and bolted without a word. Illiad relaxed into the chair. This was not the only piece of information he'd recieved today. Dipping the quill in ink, he grabbed a well-doodled in copy of the textbook for Advanced Potions and began drawing a very elaborate B on the inside of the cover, his eyes glancing up and around him every now and again, as if he were waiting for someone to pop up. Anyone would do, really. The better to observe them, but if it was a target in particular... all the more better for Illiad.
