Jackie had nudged Sly during lunch in the Great Hall. She knew he didn't have class until later that afternoon (although it would be debatable if he actually would attend Herbology) so she wanted to talk to him beforehand. She was a little nervous; this would be her first time actually recruiting for Dumbledore's Army, and she wondered how Soren had done it before - how he managed to screen the current members, and if he had as much trepidation with the hard questions as she knew she was about to have. Well, Soren did write Sly's name down as a possibility... so Jackie was going to have to talk to the older lion eventually. She figured now would be as good time as any.
"Sly..." she asked in a quiet voice as they stepped out of the Great Hall. "Could... could we go somewhere private? I need to... ask you about something..."
