The local elections happened yesterday and this morning I found myself refreshing the BBC News home page to see if more councils have declared. Last Thursday I sent an e-mail to my MP. Why did I do it? My partner is blind. I added her to the list of voters. When I asked what provision could be made to take account of her blindness, the Returning Officer sent me a form allowing her to vote without giving a signature.
